Or, our Riverwood Lodge property is just 1/2 mile away and sleeps an additional 8-12 guests. Lastly, our property The Old River Lodge (about 1 1/2 mile away) sleeps an additional 6-9 guests.

NORTHWOODS LODGE has everything you need for a great wine country stay. Located just three miles from Healdsburg's central plaza, Northwoods Lodge is the perfect choice for summer fun, or cozy winter getaways. There's a fireplace (gas), a fully equipped kitchen, river views, an expansive deck, a 5-person Marquis spa, a private dock with kayaks, and a Weber gas BBQ grill. There are 3 rooms, each with a comfortable queen size bed (two are special back support mattresses) and fine linens. A fourth sleeping area is the upstairs sitting room. It has a twin size daybed, with a twin size mattress that rolls out from beneath. One full bath is upstairs, and one full bath is on the main level. The décor includes vintage, northwoods style birch and willow furnishings.

EXTERIOR

An expansive deck under the redwoods has river views, built-in benches, plenty of outdoor dining furniture, lounge chairs, a 5 person Marquis spa and a Weber gas BBQ grill.

LIVING ROOM

In addition to the northwoods style furniture, there are a hand bent willow loveseat and chair, a leather sofa, a leather recliner chair, and a flat screen LCD television (and VCR, Stereo, CD & DVD player). The fireplace’s gas flame and heat are controlled by a thermostat, and adjusted to suit your preferences with a remote control.

KITCHEN

The eat-in kitchen in this "cottage" sized home has quality appliances and efficient workspace. The trestle style table and benches are capable of seating up to 8.

BATHROOMS

The upper level full bath is adjacent to the two upstairs bedrooms (Bass Room, Trout Room and the sitting room). There is also full bath on the main level of the home, adjacent to the River Room bedroom.

There are three rooms with comfortable, queen-size beds, and there is a bonus room - a sitting room with a day bed, having two twin size mattresses. The 3 queen size rooms all have fine, all cotton linens, down alternative comforters, and premium mattresses (two are special edition back support mattresses). The twin beds have fun, wildlife themed sheets and down alternative comforters. Two of the queen size rooms and the sitting room have clear, operable skylights with views of towering redwoods.

Bass Room
Beds:	One queen-size bed - a premium special edition back support mattress
Location:	Upper level. The view of the river from this room is peaceful and private. It is adjacent to the sitting room, and separated from that room by a pocket door. A clear, operable skylight offers views of towering redwoods.
Size:	A comfortable size room the same size as the Sitting Room and the Trout Room.
Bath:	A full bath is in the hall just outside the sitting room door.
Decor:	There are two night stands, a trunk/chest, a wicker chair, and large picture windows with lovely river views. The very comfortable bed in this room is dressed with a down alternative comforter and white linens and is a premium special edition back support mattress.
Sitting Room
Beds:	Two single-size beds (parts of a trundle bed that can be used separately or made into a 4th queen bed).
Location:	Upper level - between the Bass Room and the hallway. A clear, operable skylight offers views of towering redwoods.
Size:	This room is the same size as the Bass Room and Trout Room and is large enough for lounging, sleeping, or television watching.
Bath:	A full bath is located off the hall just outside the door.
Decor:	The room is cozy and comfortable feeling. The daybed is dressed with hand-quilted, woodsy pillow shams. The sheets have an outdoor wildlife theme. There are two small chests, a night stand, a chair, a television, and two closets.
Trout Room
Beds:	One queen-size bed - a premium special edition back support mattress
Location:	Upper level - across the hall from the Sitting Room and The Bass Room. Windows look out toward redwoods, or the woodsy neighborhood. A clear, operable skylight offers views of towering redwoods.
Size:	This comfortable room is the same size as both the Bass and the Sitting Rooms.
Bath:	A full bath is located off the hall just outside the door.
Decor:	There’s an antique, northwoods style dresser with a charming hand carved fish decorating its mirror frame. There are also two night stands, a small bench, and two closets. The queen bed has a premium special edition back support mattress.
River Room
Beds:	One comfortable queen-size bed.
Location:	Main level - adjacent to the kitchen, a door leads to the lower level full bath, the rear deck, hot tub and river views.
Size:	This is a comfortable size room.
Bath:	A full bath is located just outside this room in a porch room and could be considered the Master Suite as it has private access to the bath at night.
Decor:	The room gives a warm glow, cast by its two tiffany lamps. It is private and restful. The nostalgic canoe painting over the bed sets the rustic theme. There is a comfortable, pillow topped queen-size mattress, two night stands, and a bookcase. This room also houses the washer and dryer for use during the day.

DECK / SPA

The spacious (14ft by 35ft) riverfront deck has beautiful views, seating, and outdoor dining tables. Grill up something for dinner on the Weber gas barbeque and enjoy river views in the 5 person Marquis spa under the redwoods.

DOCK

Steps descend from the deck to the river, and in season (typically May-October) a private dock is in place for your use. We provide two kayaks for your boating pleasure, or just lounge on the dock and enjoy the views. Go for a swim or try your hand at fishing. This is the perfect place to relax... RIVER / VIEWS

The views are beautiful from this location, and this area along the Russian River is great for swimming, fishing and boating. This is a perfect spot for steelhead fishing in the winter months (ask about our Winter Fisherman's Getaway rates).
