Six
Generations were involved in preparing for the enjoyable
wine country vacation experience awaiting you today at Wine
Country Lodges. Our current owner, Lisa Neisingh,
grew up in a rural area of Sonoma County in the 1940's and 50's.
She loves the great outdoors and the "lakeside cabin" style of
decorating reminiscent of Minnesota's north woods, where she was
born. She puts her years of design study at UCLA to the happy
task of bringing you the relaxing, back-to-nature environment
that we trust you'll enjoy. |

Lisa's
great-grandmother, Estelle, was our first family
member to live here at Fitch Mountain, helping run Healdsburg's
historic Camp Rose Inn. |

Her
grandfather, Alfred, instilled in Lisa a love
for the outdoors. Theodora, her grandmother,
was a fine artist, musician, and designer with Gumps in San Francisco.
Her grandparents, born in Minnesota, raised their children here
in Sonoma County and taught them to swim at Camp Rose. Theodora
passed along not only an appreciation for lovely things and fine
arts, but also for such charming things as birch bark canoes and
fireflies. |

in Sonoma County and is an active member of many local art organizations.
Ann continually provides tireless advice and help. Her paintings,
and her fantastic artistic guidance, are found throughout our
homes. |

peeling bark with a draw knife, and carving logs for our fireplace
mantles. |

Karl and Kyle (9 and 6) and a girl, Kajsa Lisa (18 months).
Jill has a master's degree in Library and Information Science
and is responsible for creating our website. Over the last 9
years, she's been our photographer, concierge, and the friendly
voice on the line when you call, as our reservations manager,
but stepped down in May 2012 to be a full-time Mom. Jill continues
to assist in various areas of the business, including maintaining
our website.

WHY RENT A VACATION HOME? WHY RENT FROM US?
FAMILY
OWNED, PERSONAL TOUCH
Family owned and managed, we offer a more personal touch in the
vacation rental process. We know our homes inside and out and
they are well managed and maintained. In fact, the owner Lisa
Neisingh, a UCLA trained interior designer, has personally re-designed
and decorated our homes with our guests' enjoyment in mind, travelling
as far as Minnesota to procure some of our most uniquely "lodge-style"
furnishings from the heart of the "North Woods". Our
homes offer a certain "rustic elegance" that is upscale
while still offering a welcoming, comfortable & casual appeal
our guests enjoy, making our homes perfect not only for gatherings
of families and friends, but also for corporate retreats and business
groups. And, we have personally spent time at each home (letting
our children and grandchildren "test" the amenities
to assure our homes are child-friendly) uniquely qualifying us
to advise you on the best fit for your vacation needs.
ALL
THE COMFORTS OF HOME - NOT A HOTEL
All
of the
amenities you need for your comfort and convenience are provided
in our well-stocked homes (making them a fantastic hotel alternative).
Why stay in a hotel when you have have a fully-equipped kitchen,
stocked with necessities, high quality, ultra comfortable beds
with soft linens and bedding (down-alternative), beach towels
and bath towels, electronics (TV's, DVD) and WIFI - everything
you would have in your own home. All of our homes have riverfront
decks with Weber gas BBQ grills, quality Marquis spas and fantastic
views. In addition, we offer two kayaks and fishing poles at each
home for your enjoyment of all the river has to offer. Guest privileges
are also available for Healdsburg’s premier health club, Parkpoint
Health and Swim Club, with heated lap and aqua exercise pools,
weight machines and free weights, a multitude of exercise classes,
hydrotherapy spas, saunas and Jacuzzis (in the locker room), snack
bar with large TV, child care, etc. (day use guest passes are
available for $15 each, please inquire).
GUEST
SERVICES and PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
We personally
manage the homes to ensure details are not missed and the homes
are properly serviced and ready for each guest's enjoyment. We
make ourselves available to our guests 7 days per week (including
overnight for emergencies) so you can just relax and enjoy your
Wine Country Lodges' Getaway in Healdsburg. We provide friendly
and professional assistance throughout - from placing your reservation
to receiving your security deposit refund at the end of your stay.

with all of your vacationing needs ensuring a truly unforgettable

HEALTH
and CLEANING STANDARDS
Our
homes are well maintained with great personal attention to detail.
For your assurance, we go to great lengths to provide a clean
and healthy environment.
We have high cleanliness standards and use enivronment and people
friendly products including high quality Allergy Guard dust mite
proof casings on all of our mattresses, box springs, comforters
and pillows barriers. We also use non-toxic cleaning products
and employ a patented Swedish cleaning system that uses no toxic
substances. Your health and well-being are our constant priority.
Spa cleanliness is also a priority for us... For those with particular
sensitivity: Our beds have down-alternative comforters and we
do not allow pets of any kind at three of our homes (Riverwood
Lodge, Firefly Lodge and Northwoods Lodge). Exception: We
do consider pets at The Old River Lodge exclusively. We are selective
and when we do have the occasional four-legged guest there (about
4-6 times per year), we apply a thorough "post-pet" cleaning routine
to return the home to its original condition.
BUSINESS
PRACTICES
Our personal
and professional commitment to fairness, honesty and service
is evident in all aspects of our business. We
try to be as accurate as possible in communicating the information
and policies pertaining to our homes in order for there to be
clear communication throughout the rental process. We operate
our business and conduct ourselves with the highest level of personal
and professional integrity and trust that our guests will in turn,
treat us and our homes in the same way.
We are members in good standing with the Healdsburg Chamber of
Commerce, and as we have been in the vacation rental business
since 2003, we have established a solid reputation with excellent
GUEST
